Other notable stocks with high trading volumes included Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which closed at 2,321.5 JPY, recording a significant rise of 2.47%. Additionally, IHI Corporation ended the session at 8,620 JPY, up by 1.08%, reflecting robust activity in the industrial sector.
Fuji Media Holdings also attracted attention with a remarkable 5.12% gain, closing at 1,910 JPY, while gaming giant Nintendo Co. Ltd. rose by 3.46% to close at 9,890 JPY. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc., however, remained unchanged at 1,907 JPY.
