Chinese President Xi Jinping has encouraged Xiamen Airlines to actively contribute to economic and social development and to strengthen exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait. This message was conveyed in a reply letter addressed to the airline’s staff on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
In his letter, Xi, who also serves as the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, underscored the pivotal role Xiamen Airlines has played over the past four decades.
