This call to action was made in a reply letter to representatives of Hong Kong entrepreneurs originating from Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
In his letter, Xi emphasized the crucial role that Hong Kong’s business community can play in the broader context of China’s economic transformation. Addressing the entrepreneurs, Xi noted that their active participation in national development is essential for achieving the goals set out in China’s modernization plans. He highlighted the historical ties between Ningbo and Hong Kong, underscoring how these connections can serve as a bridge for economic and cultural exchange.
