Sunac China sees major gains among high-volume stocks

Today’s trading session in Hong Kong featured strong performances among the highest-volume stocks, led by Sunac China Holdings (1918.HK) with a substantial 14.86% increase, closing at 3.71 HKD. This impressive surge highlights increased investor optimism in the real estate sector. Meituan (3690.HK), a major player in the e-commerce space, also experienced a positive day, rising by 3.96% to end at 196.8 HKD.

Tech and financial stocks make modest gains

Other high-volume stocks included several notable tech and financial entities. Xiaomi Corporation (1810.HK) saw a 1.81% rise, closing at 28.10 HKD, while Tencent Holdings Limited (700.HK) recorded a modest gain of 1.05%, finishing at 424.2 HKD. Semiconductor Manufacturing International Co. (981.HK) was up slightly by 0.93% to 27.15 HKD. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing (388.HK), a key player in the financial market infrastructure, closed with a 1.12% increase at 325.6 HKD.
