Meituan (3690), a major e-commerce and food delivery company, recorded a gain of +1.29% to 165.0 HKD, showing resilience in the online services sector.
Kuaishou Technology (1024), a video-sharing and social media company, suffered a steep loss of -5.74% to 55.05 HKD, as investors worried about its advertising revenue and competition with TikTok’s dominance in the market. Wuxi Biologics (2269), a biotech and pharmaceutical company, plunged -9.04% to 23.65 HKD, marking one of the worst performances among high-volume stocks, as global biotech stocks faced selling pressure.
