China’s stock markets faced broad declines today as major indices closed in negative territory. The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) Composite Index dipped by 0.40% to settle at 3,390.6180. Similarly, the Shenzhen Component Index slid 0.94%, finishing the day at 10,689.8147.
The SZSE Composite Index also experienced a notable drop of 0.82%, closing at 2,047.7077. Smaller-cap stocks faced a sharper decline, with the CSI 1000 Index retreating by 1.11% to 6,279.3853.
