Hong Kong’s stock market faced significant declines today as several companies witnessed sharp drops in their share prices. CGN Mining Company Ltd (1164.HK) emerged as the top laggard, with its stock plummeting 17.58% to close at HKD 1.50. The company’s performance weighed heavily on the market, marking one of the steepest declines across listed entities.

Green Intl Hldgs Ltd (2700.HK) followed closely with a 14.89% drop, ending the day at HKD 0.400. Similarly, China Jicheng Holdings Ltd (1027.HK) faced a substantial decline of 13.64%, closing at HKD 0.76.

Champion Alliance Intl Hldgs Ltd (1629.HK) and China Huirong Finl Hldgs Ltd (1290.HK) also experienced downward pressure, with their shares falling 11.56% and 11.48%, respectively. The education sector wasn’t spared, as Goldway Education GP Ltd (8160.HK) saw its stock dip by 10.77% to HKD 0.290.
