Tech giants see significant trading volume

As of 11:03 AM, some of Hong Kong’s largest tech companies experienced high trading volumes, though most closed in negative territory. Tencent Holdings Limited (700.HK), the leading player in China’s tech sector, traded at high volume, closing at 423.6 HKD, marking a 0.98% decrease. Meituan (3690.HK) followed, with its stock price dipping by 2.84% to 188.3 HKD, while Semiconductor Manufacturing International Co. (981.HK) ended down 1.64%, closing at 27.05 HKD.

Kuaishou sees the largest decline among high-volume stocks

Kuaishou Technology (1024.HK), a major player in video-sharing platforms, recorded the steepest drop among high-volume stocks today, down by 3.09% to 51.70 HKD. Other high-volume stocks like Xiaomi Corporation (1810.HK) also closed lower, falling 1.95% to 27.65 HKD. Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing (388.HK), a staple in the financial sector, recorded a 1.03% decline, finishing at 327.0 HKD.
