China’s most volatile stocks: Wuxi Lihu and Mingyue Optical rise over 20% in a day

Optical and healthcare stocks lead volatility

China’s most volatile stocks of the day include notable gains in healthcare and optical stocks. Wuxi Lihu Co. Ltd. (300694) surged by 20.02%, closing at 15.83 CNY, alongside Mingyue Optical Lens (301101), which also recorded a 20.01% increase to close at 36.34 CNY. DoctorGlasses Chain (300622), another healthcare-focused stock, saw a solid rise of 14.07%, closing at 55.86 CNY. These increases highlight investor confidence in China’s healthcare and optical sectors, despite broader market fluctuations.

Mixed outcomes for technology and equipment stocks

Shanghai Dragonnet (300245) experienced a more moderate increase of 8.50%, closing at 16.47 CNY, while Funeng Oriental Equipment (300173) gained 15.77%, ending the day at 6.90 CNY. Youkeshu Technology Co. (300209), however, saw a slight decline of 0.31%, closing at 6.39 CNY, reflecting some market uncertainty within the tech industry. Overall, China’s most volatile stocks showed significant activity, especially in sectors with rising demand for healthcare and optical products.
