China’s major stock indices displayed varied performances in today’s trading, reflecting a mixed response from investors. The CSI 1000 Index emerged as the top performer, climbing 1.37% to close at 6,177.9142 CNY, signalling optimism in smaller-cap stocks.
The SZSE Composite Index also exhibited robust momentum, rising by 1.05% to settle at 2,015.0908 CNY. Similarly, the Shenzhen Component Index surged 0.77%, reaching 10,685.2550 CNY, driven by gains in technology and innovation-focused stocks.
Meanwhile, the SSE Composite Index saw a modest uptick of 0.06%, ending at 3,395.4125 CNY. This marginal growth underscores cautious investor sentiment in Shanghai-listed large-cap stocks.
