Chinese stock markets ended lower today, reflecting a broad decline across major indices. The CSI 1000 Index suffered the steepest loss, closing at 6,251.3663, down by 0.82%. The SZSE Composite Index also witnessed a significant dip, falling 0.72% to settle at 2,034.6288.

Other indices saw similar declines. The CSI 300 Index fell 0.44% to close at 3,934.3282, while the Shenzhen Component Index recorded a 0.46% drop, ending the session at 10,664.3554. Meanwhile, the SSE Composite Index and SSE A Share Index both shed 0.28%, closing at 3,369.2935 and 3,531.8117, respectively. The SSE 100 Index saw a sharper decline of 0.57%, closing at 5,242.1635.

The FTSE China A50 Index, reflecting broader market sentiment, declined by 0.34%, closing at 13,306.77 CNH. In the mid and small-cap sectors, the SSE MidCap and SSE SmallCap indices dropped 0.41% and 0.53%, respectively.
