Asian market update : SSE Composite Index Gains 0.31% as Shenzhen Component Drops 0.76%

However, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped significantly, closing at 10,359.3689 CNY, down 0.76%. The SZSE Composite Index also edged down by 0.08%, ending the session at 1,965.2792 CNY, reflecting subdued activity in smaller Shenzhen-listed stocks.

The CSI 1000 Index, a benchmark for small-cap stocks, declined by 0.50% to settle at 6,000.2514 CNY.
