Alim Khan Yasin Gildyev, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, expressed his country’s readiness to invest significantly in Afghanistan’s infrastructure projects.
Kazakhstan’s investment in Afghanistan’s railway projects aims to achieve several important goals. By building new rail links, Kazakhstan wants to improve how easily Afghanistan can connect with Central Asia and other regions, making trade routes more efficient. Modernizing the railway system will also make transportation faster and cheaper for people and goods.
The discussions centred around the Afghanistan Railway, with a particular focus on the Khaf-Herat railway’s fourth section. The Khaf-Herat railway is a critical infrastructure project aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and fostering economic growth in Afghanistan. The first section of this fourth segment is crucial for improving transportation links between Afghanistan and Iran, thereby boosting trade and economic activity.
Ambassador Gildyev emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to Afghanistan’s Development through investments. This support aligns with Kazakhstan’s broader strategy to expand its influence in Central Asia and contribute to regional stability and growth.
