Luxnet Corporation led the gainers, surging 9.98% to close at 242.5 TWD, while Mitac Holdings Corporation followed closely with a 9.94% increase to 73.0 TWD.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC), a key market player, gained 1.34% to finish at 1,135 TWD, reflecting continued interest in the semiconductor sector.
Meanwhile, Elite Advanced Laser Corp posted a modest 0.30% gain, closing at 334.5 TWD.
On the downside, Wiwynn Corporation saw the sharpest decline, falling 5.29% to 2,240 TWD.
MediaTek Inc. remained flat at 1,465 TWD, signalling a neutral market reaction to the stock.
