At 10:43 am Tuesday, 7 January 2025 (GMT+8), PharmaEssentia Corp emerged as the top performer in Taiwan’s stock market, climbing 7.53% to 728 TWD.
PharmaEssentia Corp is a Taiwan-based biopharmaceutical company specializing in developing innovative treatments for hematologic disorders and cancers.
Chenming Electronic Technology Corp also posted strong gains, rising 6.80% to 157 TWD, while Hon Hai Precision Industry advanced by 3.79% to 191.5 TWD.
Other notable movers included Alchip Technologies Ltd., up 3.55% at 3,205 TWD, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., which increased by 2.67% to 1,155 TWD.
Quanta Computer saw modest growth, gaining 1.19% to reach 297.5 TWD.The market showcased a strong performance, with technology and semiconductor sectors driving the gains.
