At 1:25 pm Friday, 20 December 2024 (GMT+9), the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) highlighted significant volatility among key stocks, with several companies posting sharp losses.

CorestemChemon led the decliners with a steep drop of 29.97%, closing at 5,070 KRW, signalling potential challenges in the biotech sector.

Kolon Mobility Group followed closely, plunging 25.67% to 2,635 KRW, while HNK Machine Tool Co., Ltd. declined by 23.58%, trading at 3,630 KRW.

In addition, UDMTEK Co., Ltd. faced a loss of 21.48%, settling at 669 KRW. PCL Inc. also experienced a downturn, falling 5.40% to 578 KRW.

Despite the downward trend in these stocks, Kiwoom No.10 Special Purpose Acquisition Company remained relatively stable at 1,934 KRW.
