Singapore, 16 December 2024: DBS Group Holdings led trading volumes during Monday’s midday session, declining 0.20% to 44.22 SGD as of 1:02 PM local time. The banking sector experienced broad selling pressure, with UOB and OCBC Bank also trading in negative territory.
UOB fell 1.10% to 36.79 SGD, reflecting subdued investor sentiment, while YZJ Shipbuilding (SGD) recorded the sharpest decline among high-volume stocks, dropping 1.74% to 2.83 SGD.
Other actively traded stocks included Singtel, which dipped 0.63% to 3.13 SGD, and OCBC Bank, which edged down 0.29% to 16.95 SGD. SGX (Singapore Exchange) also faced losses, slipping 1.62% to 12.11 SGD.
