Stock market news: Orient Precision and Sambo Industrial lead declines, Haesung Optics surges 11.62% in volatile South Korean stock trading

At 1:30 pm KST (GMT+9) on Tuesday, 17 December 2024, several South Korean stocks experienced significant volatility during trading.

Orient Precision Industries Inc. saw a sharp decline of 10.60%, with its share price dropping to 5,990 KRW.

Sambo Industrial Co., Ltd. also faced a notable dip, falling 10.03% to 2,600 KRW.

In contrast, Haesung Optics Co., Ltd. posted a strong gain of 11.62%, rising to 1,028 KRW, while Nexteye Co., Ltd. climbed 3.19% to 615 KRW.

OrientBio recorded a modest gain of 0.86%, trading at 1,170 KRW, and Ubion Co. Ltd. remained unchanged at 1,272 KRW.
