Stock market news: Wintest surges 26.25%, Smaregi drops 16.74%, D. Western Therapeutics gains 25.96% in volatile midday trading

On 16th December, the Japanese stock market witnessed significant volatility among several stocks, with Wintest Corp leading the pack. As of 2:16 PM local time, Wintest’s stock surged by an impressive 26.25%, trading at 101 JPY, making it the most volatile performer of the session.

D. Western Therapeutics Institute Inc followed closely, recording a sharp gain of 25.96%, with its shares priced at 131 JPY. Another notable gainer was Hamee Corp, which climbed by 16.09%, trading at 1,212 JPY.

However, not all stocks experienced upward momentum. Smaregi Inc faced a steep decline, dropping 16.74% to trade at 2,785 JPY, making it the day’s most notable loser. Similarly, Nippon Denkai Ltd saw a marginal dip of 2.13%, trading at 46 JPY.
