At 12:46 pm Monday, 16 December 2024 (GMT+8), Gold Circuit Electronics Co. led gains among high-volume stocks on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, rising 4.31% to 242.0 TWD.
Meanwhile, Elite Advanced Laser Corp. saw the sharpest decline, falling 9.90% to 232.0 TWD.
Other actively traded stocks included Global Unichip Corp., up 3.40% at 1,370 TWD, and Alchip Technologies Ltd., which gained 2.24% to trade at 2,965 TWD.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) posted a modest increase of 1.41%, reaching 1,080 TWD.
However, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (Foxconn) dropped 2.41% to 182.0 TWD.
