At 2:18 pm Friday, 15 November 2024 (GMT+9), major market movements were observed on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) with several companies making significant gains in trading volume. SG Co., Ltd. posted a notable surge, closing at 3,790 KRW with a sharp 25.50% increase.
Leading gains was SY Steel Tech, Inc., whose shares saw a maximum allowed jump of 30.00%, trading at 8,190 KRW. TYM Corporation also rose considerably, with a 21.18% increase, reaching 5,150 KRW.
SY Co., Ltd. registered a gain of 18.10%, ending the session at 4,860 KRW.
Conversely, Sambu Engineering & Construction declined by 1.14%, closing at 1,384 KRW, despite the high volume.
Union showed a strong uptick with an 11.07% gain, trading at 5,370 KRW.
