Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri completes successful visit to Nepal

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri’s visit to Nepal on August 11-12, 2024, marked his first official trip since taking office.

Foreign Secretary of India, Vikram Misri, concluded a productive two-day visit to Nepal from August 11-12, 2024, at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Secretary, Sewa Lamsal. This visit marked Misri’s first official trip to Nepal since assuming his position last month.

During the visit, both Indian and Nepali officials reaffirmed the longstanding and friendly relations between the two countries, which are deeply rooted in shared historical, cultural, and civilizational ties.
