PM Modi accuses Congress of hidden agenda on reservation policies

He characterized the opposition’s tactics as a “factory” of lies aimed at misleading voters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public gathering in Maharashtra’s Nandurbar, launched an attack on the opposition, particularly the Congress, over the issue of reservation. Modi accused the Congress of pursuing a hidden agenda regarding reservation policies, sparking controversy and political debate.

During his speech, Modi criticized the Maha Aghadi for allegedly undermining the principles of reservation. He emphasized his commitment to safeguarding the rights of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) through what he described as a “maha yagya” for reservation protection.

Expressing frustration over the lack of response from the Congress, Modi accused them of evading accountability and maintaining a secretive agenda.

Critics argue that Modi’s rhetoric is aimed at garnering support among marginalized communities, while supporters commend his stance on protecting reservation rights.

He also paid homage to Baba Sant Narayan Maharaj and reminisced about the late Gopinath Munde’s contributions to Beed’s development. Furthermore, Modi highlighted his commitment to national progress and solicited public support for his vision of a developed India.
