KEI Industries has shared a key development on its major expansion project in Gujarat. The company has officially commenced trial production at its greenfield manufacturing unit in Sanand (Ahmedabad), marking an important step in its ongoing capacity enhancement plan for LT, HT and EHV cables.
This update follows KEI’s earlier communications dated July 22, 2025, and October 15, 2025, under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements. The Sanand facility, located at Plot No. 1012–1023, Sanand-II, BoI Engineering Industrial Estate, GIDC, has now started its first phase of trial production specifically for LT and HT cables.
The company has also confirmed that the Muhurat Puja and the start of full-scale commercial production at the new unit are expected on December 10, 2025. With this expansion, KEI Industries aims to strengthen its manufacturing footprint, meet growing demand across domestic and international markets, and further enhance its position in the power cable segment.
