In a major development ahead of Formula 1’s 2026 driver reshuffle, Liam Lawson is set to remain with Racing Bulls, while Arvid Lindblad will step up as his new teammate, according to the latest reports from the F1 paddock. The confirmation is expected on Tuesday.

The move finalises Red Bull’s junior-team structure for the new regulation era, with Lawson – long regarded as one of the most promising drivers outside a full-time seat – now securing continuity into 2026. Lindblad, one of Red Bull’s most exciting young prospects, will reportedly make his full-season debut alongside him.

However, the reshuffle comes with a major casualty: Yuki Tsunoda is set to lose his Formula 1 seat after the 2025 season. Despite showing improved pace in recent races, Tsunoda’s position had been under increasing pressure as Red Bull evaluated long-term options for both teams.

The official announcement, covering Racing Bulls and Red Bull Racing line-ups, is expected on Tuesday and will confirm one of the biggest driver-market shake-ups ahead of the 2026 regulations.
