Escorts Kubota Limited reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 369.47 crore from continuing operations for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), registering a 40% year-on-year (YoY) increase from Rs 264.36 crore in Q1 FY25. The growth comes despite a marginal drop in total income, which stood at Rs 2,656.16 crore, compared to Rs 2,676.69 crore a year earlier.
Revenue from operations came in at Rs 2,500.05 crore for the quarter, compared to Rs 2,573.73 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses declined to Rs 2,242.22 crore from Rs 2,328.40 crore in Q1 FY25, supported by reduced finance costs and lower purchases of stock-in-trade.
Profit before tax from continuing operations rose sharply to Rs 489.93 crore, compared to Rs 348.02 crore in the same period last year. The company also recorded a tax expense of Rs 120.46 crore, up from Rs 83.66 crore in Q1 FY25.
For the full financial year ended March 31, 2025, Escorts Kubota reported net profit from continuing operations at Rs 1,124.06 crore, up from Rs 804.03 crore in the previous fiscal year—an increase of nearly 40%.
