The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force will jointly address the media today at 2:30 PM at the National Media Centre in New Delhi, marking another important Indian Army’s briefing since the conclusion of Operation Sindoor. It will likely be second tri-services DGMO with senior representatives including the DGMO, Director General of Naval Operations (DGNO), and Director General of Air Operations expected to present and share key operational details and outcomes.
This development follows a high-level DGMO-level conversation between India and Pakistan scheduled at noon today, reinforcing the ceasefire understanding reached on Saturday.
Earlier, India has made it clear that talks with Pakistan will be restricted solely to military coordination through DGMOs, with no engagement on politically sensitive issues like Kashmir or the Indus Waters Treaty.
During the four-day-long military standoff, Pakistan reportedly launched over 300 drones and missiles targeting 36 Indian locations under its offensive, codenamed Operation Bunyanun Marsoos. India responded with precision airstrikes, hitting key terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Over 100 terrorists were killed in the strikes, according to military officials.
Air Marshal AK Bharti had earlier confirmed that all Indian pilots returned safely and that India’s robust air defence successfully intercepted aerial intrusions.
The upcoming 2:30 PM briefing is expected to provide further strategic and operational insight into India’s coordinated response.
