Valiant Communications Limited, in a joint venture with Tata Group’s Tejas Networks, has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) for its second major project with the state power utility.

The LOI pertains to Project #2, building upon an earlier award under Project #1, which was announced on January 10, 2025. The joint venture was formed specifically for these GETCO projects, with Tejas Networks as the lead bidder. Valiant’s share in the project is valued at approximately ₹39 crore, under which it will supply and commission communication, protection, and synchronization equipment for GETCO.

Commenting on the development, Inder Mohan Sood, CEO of Valiant Communications, said, “We are proud to partner with Tejas for these business opportunities. As an indigenous manufacturer, Valiant is a natural fit for public sector projects aligned with the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.”

He also extended gratitude to the Government of India for supporting domestic companies in scaling up their operations and tapping into national infrastructure opportunities.

The company stated that the official purchase order and full contract details will follow in due course, and appropriate disclosures will be made in compliance with SEBI regulations.

Valiant Communications is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified company known for manufacturing and exporting telecom and data transmission products. Its solutions are deployed in over 5,500 power substations globally, across various voltage levels.
