Raveena Tandon became the latest Bollywood celebrities to visit the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. On Monday, the actress, along with her daughter, Rasha Thadani, and a couple of friends, were spotted seeking blessings of Swami Chidanand Saraswati, President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Raveena also performed Ganga aarti at Arail Ghat in Prayagraj with fellow actor Katrina Kaif.
“This Kumbh has come after 144 years. So, my friends and I have come here from Mumbai. We have come not just for Ganga Snan but also to our ‘home’. Swami ji’s home is my home, my children’s home…,” Raveena told ANI. The actress also shared that she will visit Kashi and celebrate Maha Shivratri there.
Meanwhile, Katrina also met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. The actress, who had visited the mela with her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, expressed gratitude and excitement about being part of the sacred event. Her husband, Vicky Kaushal, had earlier visited the Kumbh during the promotional tour of his latest release, Chhaava.
As per the reports from Uttar Pradesh government’s Information Department, nearly 630 million people had visited the holy site as of Sunday.
Earlier, several other celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao, Tamannaah Bhatia, Esha Gupta, Vijay Deverakonda and many more had visited the sacred event.
