In a significant development, Max Healthcare has announced the completion of its acquisition of Jaypee Healthcare Limited (JHL), achieving full ownership of the healthcare entity. This acquisition, which took place on November 11, 2024, at 5:51 PM IST, involved the purchase of the remaining 36.35% equity stake in JHL, totaling 15,53,90,769 shares.

The aggregate consideration for this transaction amounted to approximately ₹227 crore. With this acquisition, Jaypee Healthcare has now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Max Healthcare.
